Ex-factory prices as announced by the manufacturer. Last updated October 26, 2026.
The FAW Tiger VH has a YC4D130-33 four-cylinder, water-cooled, direct-injection diesel with a turbocharger and intercooler. FAW lists the displacement as 4,214cc (marketed as 4200cc) and the engine meets Euro II. It produces 130 hp at 2,800 rpm and 380 Nm between 1,400 and 1,700 rpm. Drive goes to the rear wheels through a WLY56T115 six-speed manual gearbox with an Eaton dry single-plate clutch of 330 mm. FAW lists a top speed of 107 km/h and a gradeability of 30%. No fuel economy figure is published.
The Tiger VH is 6,810 mm long, 2,220 mm wide and 2,430 mm tall, on a 3,860 mm wheelbase with 200 mm of ground clearance. The deck is 4,900 mm long, which FAW markets as a 16-foot deck. Gross vehicle weight is 10,000 kg, kerb weight 3,140 kg and maximum payload 7,000 kg. The fuel tank holds 100 litres. It rides on seven 8.25-R16 tyres with twin rear wheels, three parabolic springs at the front and a 7+3 leaf spring at the rear. The frame uses punched and riveted side rails. The single cab seats two, and FAW quotes a 7.2 m turning radius. FAW’s leaflet says a 4×4 configuration is also available, but it has no separate page or price on the website.
The Tiger VH uses full air dual-circuit brakes, a spring-energy parking brake and an exhaust brake, which is a step up from the hydraulic brakes on the smaller Tiger VR. Steering is a recirculating-ball type with hydraulic power assistance. The cab has a radio with USB and two speakers, manual doors and windows, and a 12V 100Ah battery. Air conditioning is optional. The body has ED paint, and white is the only colour shown.
FAW’s Pakistani website does not publish the Tiger VH warranty. Get the terms from the dealer in writing.
Only the 4×2 version has a product page, so that is the one most buyers will get. In our view, the Tiger VH suits intercity distribution and heavier city work, such as building materials or produce, where a 3-ton truck runs out of space. Air brakes and an exhaust brake should help on long downhill stretches. We would ask the dealer to include the optional air conditioning in the quote and to confirm freight and body-building costs, since FAW does not publish a price.
