Power comes from Hi-Speed’s C110 engine, which displaces 106.7cc. Hi-Speed quotes 5.1 kW (about 6.8 hp) at 7,500 rpm and 7.3 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm, and a top speed of 115 km/h. The official table also gives a fuel average of 53 km/l, which is the only official mileage figure in the whole petrol range. Starting is electric. Hi-Speed does not describe the gearbox; PakWheels calls it a semi-automatic with four speeds, so confirm how it shifts on a test ride. Note that the official bore and stroke figure (72 × 61.4 mm) does not match a 106.7cc engine and looks like a copying error on the website.
The scooter measures 1900 × 740 × 1080 mm, has a 1240 mm wheelbase, a 750 mm seat height and 140 mm of ground clearance. Hi-Speed lists a curb weight of 100 kg. Tyres are 2.50-17 at the front and 80/90-16 at the rear, which is a larger wheel size than most scooters and should help on broken roads. The fuel tank holds only 4.2 litres, so even at the claimed 53 km/l you should expect to refuel roughly every 200 km.
There is one version. Hi-Speed lists disc brakes at both ends and electric starting. The official page does not mention LED lighting, a digital meter, storage space or a USB port, so we have not listed them. PakWheels lists the colours as black and silver.
Hi-Speed does not publish a price or warranty on its website. PakWheels lists the Sports Scooty 100cc at Rs 265,000. That is a lot more than a 70cc commuter and close to what some buyers pay for a 125cc motorcycle, so compare carefully. Ask the dealer for written warranty terms.
Ask the dealer to confirm the gearbox type on a test ride, because Hi-Speed itself does not describe it, and check how much storage space there is under the seat. Our advice is also to compare the on-road price, including registration, with a 110cc motorcycle before signing, since the gap is small and petrol scooters are still a niche choice in Pakistan.
In our view, the SR 100 is for riders who specifically want a petrol scooter: a step-through body, electric start and disc brakes on both wheels are its main attractions, and the claimed 53 km/l is good. Against that, the small tank and the price close to established 110cc-125cc motorcycles count against it. If you ride long distances or carry heavy loads, a conventional motorcycle may suit you better; for city trips with a passenger in traditional clothing, the scooter layout is the easier choice.
