There are many reasons that, Pakistani people will see so many cars in Pakistan. The most important reason is Pakistan’s government itself. Before the 2018 election, The Pakistan Tareek-e-insaaf (PTI) party had so much talked about the Air pollution of Pakistan. PTI officials had said that when they get the government, they will do work for the environment of Pakistan. According to the some surveys, In Lahore, 35% Air pollution is caused by petrol and diesel vehicles.
So, To tackle the air pollution, The government of Pakistan will definitely encourage the car companies to launch their electric cars in Pakistan. There are many car companies, who previously have talked about their electric cars. These companies had said they were waiting for the electric vehicle policy of Pakistan. So, Now the Pakistani government has released the electric vehicle policy, these companies will soon launch their electric cars in Pakistan.

- Zotye Cloud 100
- MG ZS EV
Zotye Cloud 100
Some of you guys might hear about Topsun Motors. In Early 2020, This company had launched the Zoyte Z100 in Pakistan. At that time, some company officials had said they are planning to launch the Zotye Cloud 100 in Pakistan.
Zotye Cloud 100 and Zotye Z100 come with the same design, but Zotye Cloud 100 is an electric vehicle. This Car is expected to come with a 27 kW motor, which can produce 140 Nm of torque. This car has a 17.76 kWh battery, which can run up to 155km on a single full charge. This car will take 6-8 hours to charge using a standard 220V power supply, with a fast-charging mode that can bring the car to 80% charge in 1 hour using 380V. The price of Zotye Cloud 100 will be around 1.8 to 2.0 million PKR. The Topsun motor might launch this electric car in early 2021.
MG ZS EV
The MG ZS EV will be the first electric car of Morris Garages (MG) which will enter Pakistan in 2021. Al-through, The name of MG ZS EV is quite similar to MG ZS, But the design of ZS EV is very different from ZS. The exterior design of MG ZS EV is very beautiful and stylish. The design of MG ZS EV is quite similar to the design of MG HS.
This vehicle comes with a 44.5 kWh battery, which produces 143PS power. This Electric vehicle can run 262 KM on a single charge. The price of MG ZS EV in Pakistan will be around 6 million. Morris Garages Motors will officially launch ZS EV in Pakistan in first quarter of 2021. Currently, Morris Garages is taking the booking of MG ZS EV in Pakistan.
