All three Deluxe versions use the same 200cc four-stroke, water-cooled engine with CDI ignition. Sazgar quotes 10.5 kW (about 14 hp) at 7,000 rpm and 15 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Power goes through a five-speed constant-mesh manual gearbox with reverse and a wet multi-plate clutch. The official spec sheets list petrol as the fuel, while Sazgar’s product listing describes the range as CNG/petrol, so ask the dealer whether a factory CNG kit is included. Claimed petrol economy is 32 km per litre, top speed is 90 km/h and the fuel tank holds 6.9 litres.
The Deluxe Mini Cab and Royal Deluxe are the compact versions. Sazgar lists them at 2,640 mm long and 1,275 mm wide, on a wheelbase of about 1,960 mm. The Deluxe XL is noticeably bigger at 3,110 mm long and 1,320 mm wide, with a 2,220 mm wheelbase and 115 mm of ground clearance, which should give passengers more room. Sazgar quotes a 400 kg maximum payload for the Mini Cab and XL, and 800 kg for the Royal Deluxe, which also has the most ground clearance at 120 mm. All versions ride on 135-10 tyres, with a hydraulic shock absorber at the front and leaf springs with shock absorbers at the rear.
Equipment is basic and largely shared. Every Deluxe has a mechanical drum brake at the front and a hydraulic disc brake at the rear, a 12-volt electrical system, a 35 W headlight and a pipe-frame chassis. Sazgar’s website does not publish a feature list that separates the variants, so the main differences are body size, payload rating and ground clearance rather than comfort or convenience items.
Sazgar’s website does not publish warranty terms for its rickshaws. Ask the dealer for the warranty in writing, including what is covered on the engine and gearbox, before you pay.
In our opinion, the Deluxe Mini Cab is the sensible choice for city drivers who want a compact, easy-to-park rickshaw. The Royal Deluxe makes more sense if you often carry heavier loads or drive on rough roads, thanks to its higher payload rating and extra ground clearance. The Deluxe XL suits operators who want a roomier body on the same engine. Because there is no official price list and third-party estimates vary widely, compare written quotes from more than one dealer before deciding.
