Sazgar lists the Cargo 100 with a 100cc four-stroke, water-cooled engine and CDI ignition. The power (8.5 kW at 7,000 rpm), torque (10 Nm at 5,500 rpm) and bore and stroke figures on its spec page are the same as the 150cc Shandar’s, so they are unlikely to be accurate for a 100cc engine; ask Sazgar or a dealer for confirmed figures. The gearbox is a five-speed constant-mesh manual with reverse and a high/low power-gear selector. Claimed economy is 28 km per litre, with top speeds of 70 km/h in high range and 50 km/h in low range.
The official spec page lists the Cargo 100 at 3,500 mm long, 1,275 mm wide and 1,865 mm tall, with a 1,950 mm wheelbase and 100 mm of ground clearance. It runs on 5.00-12 tyres with two-stage leaf springs and shock absorbers at the rear, and the fuel tank holds 9 litres. Sazgar quotes an 800 kg maximum payload, the same as the larger Shandar 150. In our opinion, that figure should be checked before you plan to carry heavy loads with a 100cc engine.
Only one version is listed. It has a front drum brake, a hydraulic rear disc brake, a hydraulic front shock absorber, a 12-volt electrical system and a 35 W headlight on a pipe-frame chassis. Sazgar does not publish a separate feature list or colour options for the Cargo 100.
No warranty terms are shown on Sazgar’s website. Ask for the warranty in writing at the time of purchase.
As there is a single version, the real choice is between the Cargo 100 and Sazgar’s bigger loaders. In our view, the Cargo 100 only makes sense for light, short-distance urban deliveries where low running costs matter more than load capacity. For regular heavy loads, the Shandar 150 or Jaandar 200, with larger engines, bigger 20-litre tanks and higher ground clearance, look like safer choices. Because several of the published figures appear to be copied from other models, confirm the specification, availability and price with a dealer before committing.
