Zongfa Y108 overview and our opinion

Battery and motor

The Zongfa Y108 is a mid-range electric scooter from ZhongFa EV, and the company describes it as the newest addition to its line-up. It is powered by a 1200 W motor and a 60V 30Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with an IP-65 rating for dust and water resistance. The official figures are a top speed of 55 km/h and a range of 70 to 90 km per charge. A full charge takes about 3 to 4 hours with the 60V 8A charger listed on the official page. That top speed is a little higher than the entry-level N1 and the Parkour, which helps when keeping up with city traffic on main roads.

Size and practicality

The Y108 rides on 10-inch wheels at both ends and has front and rear suspension, which ZhongFa EV describes as 30-tube units. Ground clearance is quoted as 4 to 6 inches, and the maximum load is 180 kg, so carrying a passenger is realistic. A safety bar at the back adds protection and gives the pillion something to hold. ZhongFa EV has not published official dimensions, kerb weight or seat height for the Y108, so it is worth sitting on one at a dealer to check the fit.

Equipment

Only one version is on sale. Standard equipment listed on the official page is LED lighting, a front disc brake, a rear drum brake and the rear safety bar. The page does not mention a digital display, USB charging or keyless start, so do not assume these are included. Colour choices are blue and black.

Warranty

ZhongFa EV states that its bikes come with warranty cover for the motor, battery and controller, but no warranty period is given for the Y108 on the official website. Confirm the duration and the battery terms with the dealer at the time of purchase.

Which version to buy

With a single version, the decision is simply whether the Y108 fits your needs. In our view it is a sensible middle choice in the range: it costs PKR 37,000 more than the N1 but adds a bigger battery, more power, a higher top speed and a much higher load capacity. If you want a larger front wheel and a sportier look, the Parkour costs a little more. Note that an official ZhongFa blog post from March 2026 quoted different battery and motor figures for the Y108, so we have used the specifications on the model page, which you should confirm in the showroom.
