Zongfa G8-3000

Battery and motor

The Zongfa G8-3000 is ZhongFa EV’s flagship electric heavy bike. It uses a 3000 W motor and a large 72V 90Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery rated IP-65. Official figures are a top speed of 100 km/h and a range of 140 to 160 km per charge, the highest in the brand’s line-up. A full charge takes 4 to 5 hours with the 87.6V 15A charger. ZhongFa EV notes that a Class A licence is required to ride it, so check your licence category before buying.

Size and practicality

The G8 rides on 17-inch wheels with a 110/70-17 front tyre and a wider 140/70-17 rear tyre, giving it the look and stance of a sports bike. The maximum load is listed as 220 kg on the model page, which means it can carry a rider and passenger. ZhongFa EV has not published official dimensions, weight or seat height. In our opinion, a bike with a battery this large is likely to be noticeably heavier than the brand’s scooters, so test the weight and riding position before you buy, particularly if you are a shorter rider.

Equipment

There is a single version. Braking is by a double disc at the front and a single disc at the rear, and the page mentions ABS in its braking and safety section. It also has LED lighting and an LED display that the company says shows real-time performance data with intuitive controls. An official ZhongFa blog article also lists a mobile charging port and an advanced suspension setup. Six colours are offered: black, white, red, matte red, grey and maroon.

Warranty

ZhongFa EV states that warranty cover applies to the motor, battery and controller, but the official website does not give the warranty period for the G8-3000. For a bike at this price, ask for the warranty length and battery terms in writing.

Which version to buy

As only one version exists, buyers simply choose a colour. In our opinion, the G8-3000 is for riders who want the fastest and longest-range bike in the ZhongFa range and are happy to pay for it. At PKR 585,000 it costs well over PKR 200,000 more than the Z6 2000, which may be enough for many city riders. An official ZhongFa article also says dealer prices can vary from about PKR 570,000 to 585,000 depending on the dealer and city, so it is worth comparing quotes from more than one showroom.
