Super Power Titan R250T overview and our opinion

Engine and gearbox

The Titan R250T is powered by a 248cc, twin-cylinder, four-stroke engine with a single overhead camshaft and liquid cooling. According to launch reports, it produces 19 kW, about 25.5 hp, at 9,000 rpm and 21.5 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Fuel is delivered by electronic fuel injection rather than a carburettor, and power goes through a six-speed gearbox. Super Power’s claimed fuel consumption is 2.7 litres per 100 km, which equals about 37 km per litre. That is a manufacturer claim, so expect less in heavy city traffic.

Size and practicality

The Titan has a long 1,540 mm wheelbase, a low 720 mm seat height and 150 mm of ground clearance. It rides on a 120/80-18 front tyre and a wide 150/80-15 rear tyre, both tubeless. In our view, the low seat and fat rear tyre point to cruiser-style ergonomics that shorter riders will find easy to manage at a standstill. The 13-litre fuel tank should give a usable touring range. Super Power has not published the dry weight or overall dimensions in the reports we found.

Equipment

The Titan is sold in one version and is far better equipped than Super Power’s 70cc bikes. It has dual front disc brakes and a rear disc, with ABS at both ends, plus traction control. Other reported features are dual cameras, tubeless tyres and electric start. Reported colours are black and silver. Super Power has not yet published a full specification page for the Titan on its own website, so details such as suspension type, lighting and instrument display were not available when this was written. Check these on the showroom bike.

Warranty

No warranty terms have been published for the Titan R250T. For a bike at this price, ask the dealer for written details of warranty length, coverage and service intervals, and check that spare parts are available.

Which version to buy

There is only one version, and Rs 950,000 is described as an introductory price, so it may rise later. In our opinion the Titan offers a lot of hardware for the money: a twin-cylinder engine, fuel injection, a six-speed gearbox, dual-channel ABS and traction control are rare at this price in Pakistan. Riders who want a relaxed, low-seat 250 for highway trips should shortlist it. If you mainly ride in town, the cheaper Nitro R300 has similar torque. As a new model from a brand known for small commuters, check dealer support and parts supply before buying.
