The SP 70 Dollar uses Super Power’s 78cc four-stroke, single-cylinder engine with an overhead camshaft and air cooling. Bore and stroke are 47.0 x 41.4 mm and the compression ratio is 8.8:1. Super Power quotes 7.0 PS at 8,500 rpm and 0.55 kg-m of torque at 6,500 rpm, which works out to about 6.9 hp and 5.4 Nm. Power goes through a four-speed gearbox with a wet plate clutch, and ignition is by CDI. The company claims fuel economy of 70 km per litre. That is a manufacturer figure, so real-world mileage will depend on load, traffic and riding style.
The Dollar measures 1,885 x 760 x 990 mm and has a dry weight of 82 kg, so it is light and easy to push through a crowded bazaar or park in a narrow lane. It is built on a backbone-type frame, the layout used on most 70cc commuters in Pakistan. The fuel tank holds 10 litres, which at the claimed economy means long gaps between fill-ups. The official page lists 2.25-17 4PR tyres. It also lists ground clearance as 35 mm, which looks like a typing error, so check this figure at the dealer.
The Dollar is sold in one version, offered in red or black at the same price of Rs 114,000. Super Power’s product page focuses on engine data and does not give an equipment list, so it does not confirm whether the bike has a self-starter, mobile charging or any lighting upgrades. Buyers who want an electric starter should look at the SP 70 Premium Self Start, which is clearly marketed with one.
Super Power’s website does not publish warranty terms for the Dollar. Ask your dealer what is covered, for how long, and what the free service schedule includes before you pay. Keep the invoice and service card, as dealers usually ask for them when you make a claim.
There is only one version, so the choice comes down to colour. In our opinion the Dollar makes the most sense for buyers who want the cheapest new Super Power and will ride mostly in the city, where its light weight and claimed economy count for the most. If your budget can stretch by Rs 3,000, the Chrome Edition shares the same engine and size figures, so compare the two in person and choose the finish you prefer. If a self-starter matters, the Premium Self Start costs Rs 30,000 more.
