Motor and battery

The Road Prince Zeus XR is listed in Road Prince’s Scooty category, and PakWheels, Gari.pk and PriceOye all describe it as an electric scooter. However, the official product page shows a specification table copied from the Passion 70 petrol motorcycle, so it gives no usable motor or battery data. Third-party figures disagree: PakWheels describes a 72-volt, 1500 W motor; another news site lists a 60-volt, 30 Ah lithium-ion battery and a 2000 W motor; and Gari.pk lists a lead-acid battery with a 60 km range. Because these conflict, we have not published motor, battery, range or charging figures.

Size and practicality

No reliable dimensions or weight are published; the official numbers are copied from the Passion 70. Check the step-through height, floor space, under-seat storage and stand type in person. Ask whether the battery is lithium-ion or lead-acid, because this affects weight, charging time and how long the battery lasts, and whether it can be removed for charging indoors. Lead-acid batteries are usually heavier and wear out sooner than lithium-ion ones, so the answer affects both the riding feel and long-term running costs.

Equipment

The official page does not list colours or features for the Zeus XR, and third-party sources disagree on colours, so we have left them out. When you visit a showroom, ask for a written list covering the display, battery level indicator, brakes, tyres and any anti-theft features, and compare it against the standard Zeus to see what the extra money buys.

Price and warranty

The official website shows no price. PakWheels, Gari.pk and PriceOye all list the Zeus XR at Rs 278,000, which is Rs 18,000 more than the reported price of the standard Zeus and the E-GO. Warranty terms are not published in readable form on the official site, so get the battery and motor warranty in writing before paying.

Which variant to buy

There is a single Zeus XR. In our opinion it is difficult to judge its value until Road Prince publishes proper specifications, because the battery type alone could make a big difference to its usefulness. If you want a Road Prince electric with clear official data, the E-GO is cheaper and better documented. If you specifically want a scooter, test the Zeus XR and the standard Zeus back to back, confirm the battery type and range in writing, and compare them with rival electric scooters at a similar price.
