The Premium RX is the largest-engined kick-start Ravi on the official price list. Ravi lists it as a 100cc single-cylinder, four-stroke engine. PakWheels gives a slightly lower 96cc and quotes about 9.1 hp at 7,500 rpm, noticeably more than the roughly 7 hp of Ravi’s 78cc models. Third-party sources list a four-speed manual gearbox, wet multi-plate clutch, kick start and a top speed of around 100 km/h. PakWheels puts fuel economy at about 35 km per litre, so you trade some mileage for the extra pull.
The RX is a bigger bike than Ravi’s 70cc-class models. PakWheels lists dimensions of 1,930 × 850 × 1,180 mm, a 1,230 mm wheelbase, 140 mm of ground clearance, a 775 mm seat and a dry weight of about 90 kg. It runs on 18-inch wheels (2.50 front, 2.75 rear tyres) instead of the 17-inch wheels used on the Hamsafar Plus and Premium R1, with drum brakes front and rear. Ravi quotes a 9.5-litre fuel tank. According to Ravi, the frame is its own iron-sheet design with an extra iron bar for added strength, which should suit riders who often carry a passenger or a load.
The RX comes in one specification at Rs 116,000 ex-factory. Ravi highlights a new sporty design, a new fuel tank and a redesigned silencer that it says gives a quieter ride. Equipment is otherwise simple: kick start, spoke wheels and drum brakes. Third-party listings show black and red colour options.
Ravi gives the Premium RX a warranty of 10 months or 10,000 km, the same as its other petrol bikes.
In our opinion, the RX is the most sensible choice in Ravi’s kick-start range for riders who regularly carry a passenger or ride on open roads, because the extra power and larger wheels should make it feel more relaxed than the 78cc models. If you want self start and alloy wheels, the Premium Special adds them for Rs 7,500 more, though Ravi publishes far fewer details about that model. Rivals such as the Honda Pridor and Suzuki GD 110S cost more but have bigger dealer networks and stronger resale value, so compare the total cost of ownership, not just the showroom price, before deciding.
