The Range uses Hi-Speed’s GC150D engine with a displacement of 149.4cc. The official table gives maximum torque as 10 Nm at 7,500 rpm, but leaves the engine type, power, top speed, bore and stroke, compression ratio, starting system, fuel system and gearbox blank. That makes this the least documented petrol model on the Hi-Speed website. Until Hi-Speed fills in these figures, ask the dealer to confirm whether the bike has electric start and how many gears it has, and treat any third-party performance claims with caution.
Hi-Speed lists the dimensions as 1900 × 735 × 1025 mm, with a 1200 mm wheelbase, a 13-litre fuel tank and a curb weight of 130 kg. Tyres are 2.75-18 at the front and 3.00-18 at the rear, a classic commuter fitment that suits rough roads and is easy to replace. The table shows a seat height of 750 mm (labelled ‘seat heated’ on the website, which appears to be a typing error). Ground clearance is given twice, as 160 mm and as 136 mm, so the real figure is unclear.
Only one version is listed. Because the brake, starting and lighting rows are empty on the official page, we cannot confirm disc brakes, self start or LED lights. From the official photos the bike follows a traditional upright commuter design, but we have not listed any feature that Hi-Speed does not state in writing.
Hi-Speed does not publish a price or warranty. PakWheels lists a ‘Hi-Speed SR 150cc’ at Rs 320,000, which we believe refers to this model, but PakWheels does not use the ‘Range’ name, so confirm the price and the exact model at a dealership before paying a deposit.
Ask the dealer for the brake type, starting system and gear count in writing, and take a proper test ride to judge power and comfort. We would also compare its price directly with the Infinity 150, which costs about Rs 1 lakh more but has published power, disc brakes at both ends and self start.
In our opinion, the SR 150 Range could appeal to riders who want 150cc pulling power in a plain, practical package for less money than the Infinity 150, and its 18-inch wheels and 13-litre tank are sensible choices for daily use. However, the missing power, gearbox and brake details make it hard to recommend without a proper test ride. If those details matter to you, the better-documented Infinity 150 is the safer Hi-Speed choice, while buyers who prioritise resale may prefer a Japanese-brand 125cc or 150cc.
