The RMI 300 Neo uses a 1000-watt BLDC hub motor made by Jinyuxing, controlled by a Xiechang controller. Hi-Speed quotes a top speed of 45 to 50 km/h and a range of 65 to 75 km per charge. The battery is a 60-volt, 24 Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) pack from Phylion with an integrated battery management system, rated for 1,000 charging cycles. Charging takes about 8 hours with the supplied 60V 3A charger. Hi-Speed describes the battery as non-flammable. Real-world range will depend on rider weight, speed and road conditions.
The scooter measures 1740 × 730 × 1065 mm and has 140 mm of ground clearance. It rides on 10-inch aluminium rims with tubeless tyres; the table lists 90/70-12 and 80/90-10 sizes. Braking is by a front disc and a rear drum. Hi-Speed says the scooter has a seat with back support, a rear-view mirror and a tool kit in the box. Hi-Speed does not publish weight or seat height.
For the price, the equipment list is generous: an LCD digital meter with battery percentage, LED headlight and daytime running lights, a USB charging port, a side-stand sensor, reverse mode, cruise control, an anti-theft lock and alarm, two remote keys and two NFC cards for keyless use. There is one version.
Hi-Speed lists a motor warranty of 18 months or 15,000 km. The battery warranty is not shown on this model’s page, although similar Hi-Speed scooters list 36 months or 40,000 km, so ask the dealer to confirm in writing. Hi-Speed does not publish prices; JS Bank’s October 2026 instalment offer lists the RMI 300 Neo at Rs 205,000, while PakWheels still shows an older RM-i300 at Rs 185,000.
With a 60V 24 Ah pack and an 8-hour charge, the RMI 300 Neo is designed for overnight charging at home from a normal socket. As an electric scooter it needs no petrol, engine oil or tuning, but ask the dealer about the cost and availability of a replacement battery, since that is the biggest long-term expense of any electric two-wheeler.
In our opinion, the RMI 300 Neo is a strong buy for city commuters who can charge at home and ride under about 60 km a day. LFP chemistry, cruise control, reverse, a USB port and NFC keys are features you do not often see at around Rs 2 lakh. It is not built for highway speeds, and the 8-hour charge means overnight charging is essential. If you need more speed or range, look at the Ninja or Victor.
