The MF 385 is the most powerful Massey Ferguson that Millat currently lists on its tractors page. It comes in six versions: 2WD at Rs 4,206,600; 2WD Deluxe at Rs 4,594,200 (Rs 4,656,900 with front weights); 4WD at Rs 5,614,500; and 4WD Deluxe at Rs 5,856,180 (Rs 5,973,600 with front weights). These ex-factory prices include 14% GST and follow Millat’s revision effective 16 May 2026. The official website does not publish a price list.
All versions use the 4.41 diesel: four cylinders, 4.1 litres, naturally aspirated and direct injection, with a water-cooled oil cooler. Millat rates it at 85 hp at 2,200 rpm and 300 Nm at 1,600 rpm, with about 72 hp at the PTO. A dual damper clutch with cerametallic lining feeds an 8-forward, 2-reverse sliding-spur gearbox. Top speed is 30.5 km/h on the standard 2WD and 4WD charts and 34.3 km/h on the 2WD Deluxe chart.
The standard 2WD is 3,640 mm long and 2,020 mm wide, weighs about 2,490 kg, and has a 2,190 mm wheelbase and 475 mm ground clearance on 7.50-16 front and 18.4/15-30 rear tyres. The 2WD Deluxe is longer at 3,780 mm, with a 2,345 mm wheelbase, 7.50-20 front tyres, 490 mm clearance and about 2,820 kg. The 4WD models are 3,810 mm long with a 2,260 mm wheelbase and 12.4-24 front tyres, weighing about 2,900 kg (3,105 kg for the Deluxe). Every version has a 108-litre tank, power steering, oil-immersed hydraulic brakes and a differential lock. Lift capacity is 2,145 kg on standard models and 2,529 kg on Deluxe models.
Deluxe versions add a sun canopy, 200 kg rear counter-weights, a lift assister, heavy-duty CAT-II lower links and a multi-function dashboard that shows PTO rpm and warns of low fuel. The 4WD Deluxe also gets front wheel mudguards and 18-ply rear tyres. Millat claims its 4WD gives 30% more traction, 34% more drawbar pull and 15% better fuel efficiency than the 2WD.
Warranty terms are not published on the official website; ask your dealer.
Our opinion: the standard 2WD is the sensible buy for most haulage and tillage work. The 2WD Deluxe is worth the extra Rs 387,600 if you want the canopy, higher lift capacity and better dashboard. Pick a 4WD only for heavy soil, wet fields or big implements.
