Price and what it is

The MF 235 is the smallest Massey Ferguson tractor that Millat Tractors builds in Lahore. Millat describes it as a new model specially designed for orchards and narrow spaces. Its ex-factory price is Rs 2,453,280 including 14% GST, based on Millat’s price revision effective 16 May 2026. Millat’s own website does not publish a price list, so confirm the current rate with an authorised dealer before booking.

Engine and gearbox

Power comes from the AD3.152 diesel engine: three cylinders, 2.5 litres, naturally aspirated with direct injection. Millat rates it at 50 hp at 2,250 rpm and 172 Nm of torque at 1,400 rpm, with an estimated 44 hp at the PTO. The sliding-spur gearbox has 8 forward and 2 reverse gears, and top speed on the official chart is 25 km/h. A dual clutch lets you stop the tractor without stopping the live PTO. Millat says the tractor suits haulage and tillage as well as PTO jobs such as tube wells, threshers, rotavators and lawn mowers.

Size and practicality

This is where the MF 235 differs from the MF 240. It runs smaller tyres (5.50-16 front, 12.4/11-24 rear), is 3,210 mm long and 1,585 mm wide, and stands 1,940 mm tall over the exhaust, against 2,150 mm for the MF 240. Gross weight is about 1,570 kg, wheelbase 1,870 mm and ground clearance 325 mm. The turning circle is 7,050 mm without brakes. The fuel tank holds 50 litres. The hydraulic lift, with draft, position and response control, is rated at 1,415 kg at the lower-link ends.

Equipment

There is only one version. Standard kit includes a tool box with tools, top link, check chains, a spring suspension seat, shell-type fenders, a rear-view mirror, a USB charging port and a maintenance-free battery. Steering is manual and the brakes are mechanical outboard drums, not the oil-immersed discs found on the MF 260 and above. A swinging drawbar, pintle hook, 9-hole drawbar and front weights are optional extras.

Which one to buy

Our opinion: the MF 235 makes sense if you farm orchards, run a tube well or rotavator in tight plots, or need a tractor that fits under low branches. If your work is mostly open-field haulage, the MF 240 costs about Rs 157,000 more and gives you bigger 28-inch rear tyres and more ground clearance with the same engine.
