The Hi-Roof Pickup Van shares its mechanical package with United’s 200cc auto rickshaws. It uses a 198cc, four-stroke, water-cooled engine with a 63mm bore and 63.5mm stroke, a multi-plate wet clutch and a 4-speed gearbox with reverse. It can be started by kick or self-starter and runs on a 12-volt battery. The fuel is listed as petrol. United does not publish power, torque or fuel economy figures.

Size and practicality

Suspension is a shock absorber at the front and leaf springs at the rear, and the fuel tank holds 5 litres, which is small for a delivery vehicle that may cover long distances in a day. As the name suggests, the body is a high-roof van-type design, shown in the official picture as a fully enclosed cargo box. United does not publish the cargo volume, payload, dimensions or tyre size, so ask the dealer for these figures before deciding whether it suits your goods.

Only one version is listed: the Hi-Roof Pickup Van 200cc. Its official specification table is identical to that of the 200cc auto rickshaws, so the standard equipment includes self-start, reverse gear, a water-cooled engine and leaf-spring rear suspension. The website does not list any optional extras, although it does have a separate Customized Vehicles section, so ask the dealer whether the cargo box can be adapted to your goods. Because the van shares its engine, gearbox and starting system with the 200cc auto rickshaws, we expect parts and servicing to be familiar to workshops that already maintain those models, though United does not state this.

Price and warranty

United does not publish an ex-factory price list for its three-wheelers on its website, and the product pages do not state any warranty period. We could not find a third-party price for this model either. The customer service page lists a nationwide warranty dealer network and an aftersales helpline in Lahore. Which variant to buy

With a single version, the main question is whether to choose this model or another body style. Our view: the enclosed high-roof body is better suited to goods that must stay dry and secure, such as parcels, bakery items or electronics, while an open loader is easier to load with bulky or dirty material. Be aware that this model has dropped off the main product sections of United’s homepage and its booking buttons do not work, even though it is still in the site menu. Confirm with a dealer that it is still being produced before you plan a purchase around it.
