The MINI Aceman is an all-electric compact crossover that sits between the Cooper and the Countryman, and MINI does not offer it with a petrol engine. It is sold in Pakistan in two variants. The Aceman E has a 110 kW (148 bhp), 290 Nm motor and a 38.5 kWh battery with a WLTP range of up to 310 km. The Aceman SE has 160 kW (215 bhp), 330 Nm and a 49.2 kWh battery for up to 405 km. MINI quotes 0–100 km/h in 9.2 seconds for the E and 7.1 seconds for the SE, with top speeds of 160 and 170 km/h.
MINI’s figures for a 10–80% charge on a DC fast charger are 28 minutes for the E (70 kW) and 31 minutes for the SE (95 kW). A full charge on an 11 kW AC wallbox takes about 4.25 hours for the E or 5.75 hours for the SE. MINI says CCS public chargers can be used without extra hardware.
The Aceman is 4,079 mm long, 1,754 mm wide and 1,514 mm tall, on a 2,606 mm wheelbase. It has five doors and five seats, and its 822 mm of rear legroom is more than in the three-door Cooper. The boot holds 300 litres and expands to 1,005 litres with the rear seats folded. The 11.1 m turning circle keeps it easy to park, and MINI says it is 36 cm shorter than the Countryman.
Both variants get the 240 mm circular OLED touchscreen, navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the “Hey MINI” voice assistant, MINI Experience Modes and Green, Core and Go-Kart drive modes. Gloss black roof rails and Parking Assistant are listed as standard, as are collision warning with brake intervention, lane departure warning, lane change warning and crossing traffic warning. Adaptive cruise control and a head-up display are options. MINI’s site describes 19-inch alloy wheels and LED lights with selectable light signatures. The official website does not publish warranty terms, so ask the dealer about vehicle and battery cover before booking.
Our opinion: the Aceman SE at PKR 20,500,000 is the better buy. For PKR 2,000,000 more than the E, it adds 50 kW, a larger battery and about 95 km of extra quoted range, which matters on long motorway trips where fast chargers are still limited. The Aceman E is fine for city-only use with home charging. Either way, the Aceman gives five doors and a bigger boot for less money than the petrol Cooper models.
