The Binguo EV is the most affordable car in MG Pakistan’s line-up, sold in a single Pro variant. It uses a 31.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery with an IP67 rating, which MG calls MAGIC Battery technology. The front motor produces 50 kW and 125 Nm through a single-reduction gearbox, and top speed is 120 km/h. MG’s brochure quotes a range of up to 333 km on China’s CLTC test cycle. AC charging from 20 to 100 percent takes around 5.5 hours, and DC fast charging through a CCS2 connector takes the battery from 30 to 80 percent in around 35 minutes.
The Binguo is 3,950 mm long, 1,708 mm wide and 1,580 mm tall, with a 2,560 mm wheelbase, so it is easy to park and manoeuvre in crowded city streets. It rides on 15-inch steel wheels with covers and 185/60 R15 tyres, and has disc brakes front and rear. MG quotes a luggage capacity of 790 litres with the rear seats folded and describes deep storage spaces throughout the cabin. MG has not published the boot volume with the seats in place.
For its price, the Binguo has a useful equipment list. Safety features include driver and passenger airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, an electric parking brake with automatic hold, rear parking sensors, a reverse camera, ISOFIX mounts, tyre pressure monitoring and an immobiliser. Convenience features include smart start with keyless entry, cruise control, a multifunction steering wheel, electronic air conditioning, auto up-and-down power windows, electrically folding mirrors, a rear defogger and a rotary gear selector. The dashboard has two 10.25-inch full-colour screens for the instruments and infotainment, with four speakers and USB ports, and MG says the infotainment supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cabin has a caramel latte colour scheme with synthetic leather seats and a leather-covered steering wheel. Outside, there are X-shaped LED lamps front and rear and two-tone paint.
MG’s brochure lists a 5-year or 100,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8-year or 150,000 km battery warranty, terms and conditions apply.
Only the Pro is sold. In our opinion, the Binguo suits buyers who drive mainly within the city, can charge at home and want low running costs with modern safety and convenience features. Its 120 km/h top speed and modest motor make it less suited to regular motorway journeys. MG cut the price by Rs 300,000 in May 2026, which makes it noticeably better value than at launch.
