Engine and gearbox

The Jetour X70 Plus shares its 1.5-litre (1,498 cc) turbocharged petrol engine with the Dashing, producing 115 kW (154 hp) at 5,500 rpm and 230 Nm from 1,750 to 4,000 rpm. A 6-speed dual-clutch automatic drives the front wheels. Launch material quoted 7.8 litres per 100 km, or about 12.8 km/l. In our opinion, the same engine has more weight to pull here, so expect the X70 Plus to feel less eager than the Dashing with a full load of passengers.

Size and practicality

The X70 Plus is Jetour’s seven-seater in Pakistan. It measures 4,724 mm long, 1,900 mm wide and 1,720 mm tall, and ground clearance is listed at 200 mm, which is more useful on Pakistani roads than the Dashing’s 160 mm. It runs on 19-inch alloy wheels with 235/55 R19 tyres and has a 57-litre fuel tank. As with most SUVs of this size, the third row is best suited to children or shorter trips (our opinion), but folding the rear seats opens up a large load area.

Equipment

Only one Deluxe version is sold. It comes with six airbags including side and curtain airbags, ABS, stability and traction control, hill start assist, hill descent control, tyre pressure monitoring, rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and automatic emergency braking. Comfort and technology features include automatic climate control with rear AC vents, cruise control, push-button start, dual 10.25-inch screens, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, Bluetooth, voice commands and a wireless phone charger. Exterior equipment includes LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and tail lamps, a chrome grille and a rear spoiler.

Warranty and after-sales

Jetour Pakistan’s standard warranty terms could not be confirmed, so ask your dealer for the details in writing. Earlier in 2026, Jetour offered a free two-year or 40,000 km periodic maintenance package on the X70 Plus as a limited-time promotion. The car is locally assembled, which should help parts supply, and it is sold and serviced through Jetour’s 3S dealership network.

Which variant to buy

With one variant priced at Rs 8,299,000 ex-factory, the decision is simple. Our view is that the X70 Plus is good value if you need seven seats, because it costs only Rs 400,000 more than the five-seat Dashing and uses the same engine and gearbox. If you rarely use the third row, the Dashing gives you similar equipment, a panoramic sunroof and a slightly lower price.
