Jetour T2

Engine and battery

The Jetour T2 is offered with two powertrains. The T2 i-DM is a plug-in hybrid that pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with electric drive and a 3-speed dedicated hybrid transmission, sending a combined 360 hp and 610 Nm to the front wheels. Its 18.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery gives a claimed 90 km of electric driving (NEDC) and a total range of up to 1,100 km, and DC fast charging takes the battery from 30% to 80% in about 30 minutes. The T2 2.0 XWD uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 244 hp and 375 Nm, a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and intelligent all-wheel drive with terrain modes including Sand, Rock, Mud and Snow.

Size and practicality

The T2 is a large five-seat SUV at 4,785 mm long, 2,006 mm wide and 1,880 mm tall, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase and 220 mm of ground clearance. It has a 70-litre fuel tank and a listed boot of 448 litres. The i-DM rides on 20-inch wheels with 255/60 R20 tyres, while the XWD versions use 19-inch wheels. Its boxy shape gives it strong road presence, and in our opinion the XWD versions are the ones to choose for genuine off-road use.

Equipment by variant

All versions have six airbags and Level 2 driver assistance, including automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist and blind spot detection, plus a 540-degree camera, a 15.6-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument display, a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated powered front seats, dual-zone climate control and ambient lighting. The 2.0 XWD is listed with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, fog lamps and adaptive cruise control. The Dominator Kit version is mechanically identical to the 2.0 XWD and adds Jetour’s Dominator equipment and styling package, priced at Rs 2,000,000.

Warranty and availability

We could not confirm warranty terms for the T2 in Pakistan, so ask the dealer for them in writing. Jetour began local assembly of the T2 i-DM in September 2026. Bookings for the i-DM were paused in early September while pricing was reviewed and were later reported to have resumed at the existing price.

Which variant to buy

Ex-factory prices are Rs 12,795,000 for the i-DM, Rs 13,590,000 for the 2.0 XWD and Rs 15,590,000 for the XWD Dominator Kit. In our opinion, the i-DM is the best choice for most city buyers who can charge at home, because short daily trips can be done on electricity and it is the cheapest and most powerful T2. Pick the 2.0 XWD if you want all-wheel drive for the northern areas, and choose the Dominator Kit only if its added styling matters to you.
