GUGO offers the AION V in V5 and V6 versions. PakWheels reports that the V6 uses a 201 hp front motor with 240 Nm of torque and a 75 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, with a claimed WLTP range of 510 km. PakWheels also estimates a real-world range of roughly 350 to 390 km in Pakistani summer city driving with the AC on. The V6 supports DC fast charging at up to 180 kW, which PakWheels says takes the battery from 30% to 80% in about 20 minutes. GUGO’s own page mentions an integrated heat pump and quotes up to 650 km of range, but that is an international figure, not a confirmed Pakistani spec. GUGO has not published V5 specifications.
The AION V is 4,605 mm long, 1,876 mm wide and 1,686 mm tall, with a 2,775 mm wheelbase, making it a genuine family SUV. GUGO highlights a one-touch bed mode for the front seats, rear seats that recline up to 137 degrees, soft-touch materials throughout and an in-car refrigerator. PakWheels adds an electric tailgate and vehicle-to-load (V2L), which lets you power appliances from the battery.
GUGO’s page describes a smart cabin built on a Qualcomm SA8155P chip, four-zone voice control, online music and navigation, and remote control through the GAC smartphone app. For the V6, PakWheels lists a 15.6-inch screen with nine speakers, a panoramic sunroof, 19-inch alloy wheels, power-adjustable front seats, a 360-degree camera, driver-assistance systems, rear AC vents, a wireless phone charger and in-car Wi-Fi. GUGO says the AION V body meets C-NCAP and Euro NCAP five-star standards and has seven airbags, while PakWheels lists six for the V6. GUGO has not published a separate V5 equipment list.
PakWheels reports a 5-year or 120,000 km battery warranty on GUGO’s AION V6 but no vehicle warranty figure. GUGO’s website does not state terms, so ask for them in writing.
Our opinion: without published V5 specs, it is hard to judge the Rs 1,000,000 gap between the two versions, so ask GUGO for a written comparison. More importantly, Lucky Motor Corporation, GAC’s official Pakistani distributor, sells its own AION V Premium for about Rs 4 million less than the GUGO V6, according to PakWheels. The GUGO car has a bigger battery and more power, but buyers who value price, warranty and a wider dealer network should compare both carefully.
