The GAC Aion ES is an electric sedan that Lucky Motor Corporation revealed at GAC’s Pakistan launch in May 2026 and displayed again at the Pakistan Auto Show in September 2026. LMC said bookings would open in October 2026, with deliveries starting in 2027. However, no official ex-factory price had been published when this page was prepared. GAC Pakistan has also said the local car will get an updated interior, so some details below may change.
Reveal specifications list a 53.7 kWh LFP battery and a motor producing 134 hp and 225 Nm, driving the front wheels. Claimed range is 376 km WLTP and 442 km NEDC. AC charging is 6.6 kW, and DC fast charging peaks at 60 kW, with a quoted 10–80% charge in 24 minutes.
This is a large three-box sedan: 4,810 mm long, 1,880 mm wide and 1,545 mm tall, on a 2,750 mm wheelbase. The flat EV floor helps rear legroom, and the 453-litre boot is enough for airport runs and family luggage.
The equipment shown at the reveal is simpler than on GAC’s crossovers. It has an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 3.5-inch driver display and a PM2.5 cabin filter. Safety includes six airbags, rear parking sensors and a reversing camera, but no 360-degree camera or full ADAS package was listed. Exterior lighting includes automatic LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights.
LMC has announced the same cover as for its other GAC models: 8 years or 160,000 km for the vehicle and 8 years or 200,000 km for the battery.
Only one specification has been shown so far, and variant names have not been confirmed. In our view, the ES will appeal to buyers who prefer a traditional sedan to a crossover, including families and company-car users, but its value will depend entirely on the final price. Until LMC publishes the price, compare the ES with established petrol and hybrid sedans and with other electric sedans. It is also worth seeing the updated Pakistani interior before committing.
