The BMW iX2 is a fully electric coupe-style SUV, sold in Pakistan as the iX2 xDrive30 with all-wheel drive. BMW’s official Pakistan site quotes a system torque of 494 Nm and a WLTP range of up to 477 km. The same page gives power as 201 horsepower, but BMW’s international technical data lists 230 kW (313 hp) for this version, with a WLTP range of 417 to 449 km, a 64.7 kWh usable battery, 11 kW AC charging (about 6.5 hours for a full charge) and DC charging up to 130 kW, which takes the battery from 10% to 80% in 29 minutes. Please confirm the power and range figures with Dewan Motors before you buy.
BMW’s international data lists the iX2 at 4,554 mm long, 1,845 mm wide and 1,560 mm tall, with a 2,692 mm wheelbase and a boot of 525 litres, expanding to 1,400 litres with the rear seats folded. Its sloping roofline gives it a sportier look than the related iX1.
According to the official site, the iX2 has a panoramic glass sunroof, the large Curved Display with BMW Live Cockpit Professional and Operating System 9, a head-up display, wireless Apple CarPlay and the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. A wireless charging tray with extended storage keeps phones charged without cables. Ergonomic sport seats with manual adjustment are mentioned. Outside, the Kidney Iconic Glow grille lights up, and LED fibre technology creates lighting effects when driving, locking and unlocking.
BMW Dewan’s official warranty is 2 years with unlimited mileage, plus an 8-year or 160,000 km high-voltage battery warranty for fifth-generation BMW electric cars, whichever comes first. Local press reports that a wallbox charger with installation is included for BMW EV buyers.
Only the iX2 xDrive30 is listed, at Rs 27,380,000. In our opinion, it suits buyers who want a stylish, well-equipped electric SUV that stands out from the crowd. If practicality matters more than looks, compare it with the iX1 xDrive30, which costs Rs 580,000 less and has a more upright roofline. If you can stretch your budget, also look at the iX3 50 xDrive at Rs 30,500,000; in our view its official range of up to 805 km makes it the better long-distance car.
