The Daewoo BH115 is a rear-engined intercity coach made in Pakistan by Daewoo Pak Motors (DPML), the joint venture of Daewoo Bus Corporation of Korea and Afzal Motors. The official specification lists 310 hp, Euro II emissions and a 430 mm clutch. The website does not give engine size, torque, fuel type or gearbox details. Afzal Motors lists a related BH115E with 300 hp and 115 kg-m of torque, plus a CNG version with 240 hp, but these figures do not match the current official page, so check the exact engine with the company before ordering.
The BH115 is 11.5 metres long, with a gross vehicle weight of 16,500 kg. It seats 45 passengers plus two crew (45+1+1) on Korean luxury seats in a 2×2 layout, which is one passenger more than the BH116 of the same length. Suspension is by leaf springs rather than air bags, and the bus rides on alloy wheels. Width, height, wheelbase, fuel tank capacity and tyre size are not published on the official site.
The BH115 is offered in one specification. Braking is a full-air dual-circuit system; the official page does not list ABS. Cabin equipment includes a 32-inch LED screen, a hot and cold climate unit, curtains and a PA system. Safety equipment covers three fire extinguishers and two emergency door hammers. Compared with the BH116, it misses ABS, air suspension, the rear camera, the second screen and the facelifted design, but carries one extra passenger.
No ex-factory price or warranty terms are published on the Daewoo Pak Motors website. Ask the company or an authorised dealer for a written quotation that lists the seating, body and climate equipment, as these affect the final price, and ask for the warranty period at the same time.
Our view: the BH115 suits operators on shorter intercity or charter routes who want the most seats in an 11.5-metre coach. Leaf springs are simpler to maintain than air suspension, but they usually give a firmer ride, and the absence of listed ABS is a drawback for fast motorway work. If the price gap to the BH116 turns out to be small, the BH116 is likely the better long-term buy for comfort and safety. If the gap is large, the BH115 may make more sense for budget-focused fleets that still want air conditioning and an entertainment screen.
