The Daewoo BF120 is a front-engined bus made in Pakistan by Daewoo Pak Motors, the joint venture of Daewoo Bus Corporation of Korea and Afzal Motors. The official specification lists 240 hp. Unlike the BH coaches, the website does not state an emission standard, clutch size, engine size, fuel type or gearbox for this model. Afzal Motors lists a similar BF 120L with 240 hp, 90 kg-m of torque, Euro II emissions and a 380 mm clutch, but it is not confirmed that this is exactly the same bus.
The BF120 is built to carry as many people as possible. The official page lists 45 to 63 foam-cushioned seats in a 3×2 layout, depending on configuration, and a gross vehicle weight of 16,500 kg. Its length is shown as 112.0 m on the official site, which is clearly a typing error; Afzal Motors lists the BF 120L at 11,812 mm, so the bus is likely just under 12 metres, but confirm this before ordering. Width, height, wheelbase, fuel tank capacity and tyre size are not published.
Equipment is basic, as suits a work bus. Braking is a full-air dual-circuit system, and the cabin gets curtains and a PA system. Safety equipment includes three fire extinguishers and two emergency door hammers. The official accessory list does not include air conditioning, screens, cameras or ABS, all of which appear on at least one of the BH coaches. There is one listed specification, with the seat count chosen to suit the buyer.
No ex-factory price or warranty terms are published online. Ask Daewoo Pak Motors for a quotation for the exact seat count you need, since a 45-seat and a 63-seat layout may be priced differently, and ask for the warranty terms in writing.
Our view: the BF120 makes most sense for schools, universities, factories and urban operators who need high capacity at a lower purchase and running cost. A front-mounted engine is generally easy to reach for roadside repairs, but it also tends to bring more noise and heat near the driver. Choose the higher seat count for short staff or student shuttles, and the lower count if passengers will sit for longer trips. If you need air-conditioned intercity comfort, the rear-engined BH115 or BH116 is the better fit.
