Battery and motor

The Yadea T5 family has two family-sized electric scooters: the T5 at Rs 253,500 and the T5L at Rs 305,000. The T5 runs a 72V 25Ah graphene battery with Yadea’s TTFAR technology and a motor rated at 1,200W, peaking at 2,100W, with 86 Nm of torque. Yadea quotes 70 to 85 km of range, a 57 km/h top speed and five to six hours of charging. The T5L uses a 72V 30Ah lithium iron phosphate battery and a stronger 1,500W motor that peaks at 2,700W with 100 Nm. Its quoted range rises to 80 to 100 km, top speed is 51 km/h, and charging takes about 5.5 hours.

Size and practicality

The T5 measures 1,780 × 700 × 1,180 mm with 160 mm of ground clearance, the highest of any Yadea scooter, and a 150 kg maximum load. The T5L is listed at 1,780 × 670 × 1,095 mm with a 1,270 mm wheelbase. The T5L is clearly aimed at families: it has a 700 mm extended seat, 340 mm of footrest space, a backrest and 26 litres of underseat storage, enough for a helmet, umbrella or charger. It climbs 16-degree slopes against the T5’s 12 degrees and rides on 3.00-10 tubeless tyres.

Equipment by variant

Both models have tubeless tyres and a display showing battery level. The T5 has an LED screen that adjusts its brightness to the surroundings and a cushioned seat. The T5L adds an LED headlight, a USB port, hydraulic shock absorbers, an energy-retrieving controller, Bluetooth unlock with family account sharing and a vehicle-locating horn. Yadea’s T5L review lists a front disc and rear drum brake, while the product page talks of full disc braking, so check the scooter you are offered.

Warranty

The T5L comes with a 4-year or 50,000 km battery pack replacement warranty. Yadea does not publish warranty terms on the T5 page, so ask the dealer. Yadea says it has more than 120 dealerships across Pakistan, including 3S showrooms that handle sales, service and spare parts.

Which variant to buy

Our view: the T5L is the better buy for most families. For Rs 51,500 more you get a lithium battery with a four-year warranty, more torque, more range, and far more storage and pillion comfort. The T5 is faster at the top end and has excellent ground clearance, but it did not appear on Yadea’s August 2026 price list as reported in the press, so confirm that new stock is available before you decide.
