The Yadea M3 family includes two compact electric scooters: the M3 at Rs 174,000 and the M3H at Rs 255,000. The M3 is the cheapest Yadea in Pakistan. It uses a 60V 23Ah graphene battery and a motor rated at 1,200W with a 2,400W peak and 85 Nm of torque. Yadea quotes 80 km of range, a 42 km/h top speed and six to eight hours of charging. The M3H moves to a removable 60V 30Ah lithium iron phosphate battery and a 1,200W motor that peaks at 2,200W with 117 Nm of torque. It is quoted at 110 km in Eco mode or 70 km in Sports mode, with a 45 km/h top speed and five hours of charging.
The M3 measures 1,730 × 710 × 1,060 mm with a 1,190 mm wheelbase, 120 mm of ground clearance and a 150 kg maximum load, and Yadea lists a 12-degree climbing ability. It rides on 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The M3H uses 10-inch high-grip tubeless tyres, is rated to climb 13-degree slopes, and Yadea says it handles hills even with two people on board. Yadea markets the M3H’s light, flowing design at women riders. Yadea does not publish the weight of either model.
The M3 has front and rear disc brakes, alloy wheels and an LED display that shows the remaining battery and adjusts its brightness to the light. The M3H adds hydraulic suspension at the front and rear, Eco and Sports riding modes, an energy-retrieving controller, Bluetooth keyless unlock and Yadea smart app connectivity. Its battery can be taken out for charging, which helps if you live in a flat with no power point near your parking. Yadea’s website does not say what brakes the M3H uses.
The M3H carries a 4-year or 50,000 km battery pack replacement warranty. Yadea’s M3 page does not state a warranty, so confirm the terms with your dealer. Yadea says it has more than 120 dealerships across Pakistan, including 3S showrooms that handle sales, service and spare parts.
Our view: the M3 is the right choice on a tight budget, especially for short trips, and its disc brakes and 12-inch wheels are welcome at this price. The M3H costs Rs 81,000 more, but its lithium battery, longer range, removable pack and four-year battery warranty make it the better long-term buy for daily commuters. If you need to charge indoors, the M3H is the clear pick.
