The okla ORA is the cheapest model in OKLA’s current line-up at Rs. 199,000. It uses a 600W hub motor fed by a 48V 30Ah LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery. OKLA quotes a top speed of 35–40 km/h and 30 Nm of torque, which suits short city trips rather than fast main roads. The controller is a 12-MOSFET unit, and the key parts communicate over CAN. Charging takes about 5–6 hours with the supplied 5A charger, so an overnight charge from a normal home socket is the expected routine. OKLA gives the range as 70–80 km, but says the final certified figure will be announced after battery testing, so treat it as a target for now.
The ORA is a small, retro-styled scooter with 3.0-10 tyres at both ends. In our view, ten-inch wheels make it light and easy to steer in traffic, but they are less settled over potholes than the 12-inch wheels on dearer OKLA scooters. OKLA has not published dimensions, weight, seat height or load capacity, so sit on one in person if you are tall or plan to carry a passenger often.
There is a single version. Braking is by a front disc and a rear drum, and the rider gets an LED speedometer. The LFP battery is the main selling point: LFP cells are known for thermal stability and long cycle life, which matters in Pakistani summers. Features such as reverse mode, a remote key or a side-stand sensor are not listed for the ORA, and OKLA has not named its colours.
The motor carries a 2-year warranty. The battery warranty is shown as 3 years in the ORA spec table but as 18 months elsewhere on the same page, so get the battery cover confirmed in writing before you pay. OKLA’s general warranty policy covers the motor for 24 months or 20,000 km and the controller and charger for 12 months or 10,000 km, and excludes water damage, overloading and unauthorised repairs.
With only one variant the choice is simple. In our opinion, the ORA makes most sense for students, school runs and short commutes within one area, where its low price and modest top speed are not a problem. If you ride on main roads or need more than 40 km/h, the ORBIT LFP or ONYX LFP is a better fit for a little more money.
