okla OKT overview and our opinion
Battery and motor
The okla OKT is a family of three commuter scooters priced from Rs. 202,000 to Rs. 369,000. The OKT Econo uses a 1200W hub motor with a 72V 32Ah graphene battery, a claimed 80 km range and a 45 km/h top speed. The OKT LFP and OKT Lithium both use a 1000W hub motor and claim 80 km. The LFP version has a 72V 30Ah lithium iron phosphate battery and a quoted top speed of 45–50 km/h, while the Lithium version has a 74V 28Ah lithium-ion battery and a 50 km/h top speed. OKLA’s FAQ gives a charging time of about 6 hours and a gradeability of 10 degrees, so steep ramps may slow it noticeably.
Size and practicality
The OKT is built around a spacious floorboard, and OKLA quotes a load capacity of 150 kg. A rear hydraulic spring shock absorber is fitted, which OKLA says is suited to Pakistani roads, and the wheels are aluminium/iron. Official dimensions, seat height and weight are not published.
Equipment by variant
All OKT versions share a front disc brake, rear suspension, improved lighting and the same body. OKLA’s OKT page describes a TFT speedometer with IoT connectivity alongside the newer LFP battery, which points to the LFP and Lithium models; check with the dealer whether the Econo has the same display. OKLA says the OKT comes in three colours, and the online shop lists the OKT Lithium in Black and Red.
Warranty
The motor warranty is 2 years. The LFP and Lithium batteries are covered for 3 years. The Econo’s graphene battery is shown with a 2-year warranty in its spec table but 18 months in the page header, and OKLA’s warranty policy lists 18 months for graphene batteries, so plan on 18 months unless the dealer confirms more in writing. Claims need the original invoice and warranty booklet, and water damage or repairs by non-authorised workshops are excluded.
Which one to buy
In our opinion, the OKT LFP at Rs. 298,000 is the most sensible choice. It keeps the 3-year battery warranty of the Lithium version, has the same claimed range and costs Rs. 71,000 less. The Econo is the cheapest way into an OKT and has the strongest motor of the three, but its graphene battery has shorter cover and, we expect, a shorter service life. The OKT Lithium only makes sense if you specifically want lithium-ion chemistry, since it offers little extra on paper.
