The okla ONYX is a city electric scooter priced from Rs. 192,000 to Rs. 255,000. All three versions use a 1200W hub motor. The base ONYX has a 72V 32Ah graphene battery, a claimed range of 100 km and a top speed of 45 km/h, while the two LFP versions are rated at 50 km/h. The ONYX LFP 10-inch uses a 64V 33Ah battery with a 70–80 km range and a 4-hour charge, and lists 92 Nm of maximum torque. The ONYX LFP 12-inch steps up to a 74V 33Ah battery, claims 90–100 km and needs 6–7 hours to charge. The graphene version is listed as readily available and supports 5A AC charging. All ranges are OKLA’s figures under ideal conditions.
OKLA quotes a seat height of 760 mm, slightly lower than the ORBIT, which helps shorter riders. The company also highlights spacious storage and an ergonomic handlebar. The 12-inch variant runs on 90/80-12 tyres, while the 10-inch variant uses 3.0-10 tyres; in our view, the bigger wheels should ride better on broken roads. Weight, dimensions and load capacity are not published.
Every ONYX gets LED lighting, an LED display for speed and battery status, a reverse mode, a stand-activated power sensor, a frame guard, a remote control and overcharging protection. Both LFP versions have front and rear disc brakes; the brake set-up of the graphene version is not stated in its spec table. As on other OKLA pages, ABS is mentioned in marketing text but not in the spec tables, so ask the dealer before assuming it is fitted. OKLA does not name the colours on offer.
The motor is covered for 2 years. The graphene battery has an 18-month warranty and both LFP batteries have 3 years, subject to terms and conditions. OKLA’s policy covers the controller and charger for 12 months or 10,000 km and excludes water damage and unauthorised repairs. Keep the original invoice and warranty booklet, because OKLA asks for both when you make a claim.
In our opinion, the ONYX LFP 12-inch at Rs. 255,000 is the pick of the range. It has the longest LFP range, 12-inch wheels, twin disc brakes and a 3-year battery warranty, and it costs only Rs. 20,000 more than the 10-inch version. Choose the 10-inch LFP if you want the quickest charge, or the graphene ONYX only if your budget is fixed below Rs. 200,000.
