The okla OMO is a mid-range electric scooter listed at Rs. 299,000 on OKLA’s home page. It uses a 2000W hub motor and a non-lithium 72V 32Ah battery, with a claimed range of 100 km and a top speed of 60 km/h. OKLA mentions a dual battery system and a swappable battery, and the FAQ gives a charging time of about 4 hours. The quoted gradeability is 13 degrees, and OKLA lists the OMO as readily available. Note that the OMO’s own product page shows Rs. 339,000 and a 72V 38Ah battery, so confirm the current price and battery size with the dealer before booking.
OKLA highlights extra leg space, cargo space and an enhanced, widened seat, and quotes a maximum load capacity of about 180 kg, higher than the 150 kg quoted for the OKT and OMIGO. The hydraulic rear suspension and aluminium-iron alloy wheels are aimed at comfort on poor roads, and OKLA describes the build as robust and designed for longevity. Dimensions, seat height and weight are not on the official site.
Only one OMO is currently priced. It comes with CBS disc brakes, a bright headlight, an eco mode, a battery level display and handlebar switchgear. Because the battery can be swapped, you can take it indoors to charge, which in our view is handy if there is no socket near where you park. An OMO Lithium version appears on the product page with a 65 km/h top speed, 60 km range and a 3-year battery warranty, but it is marked as booking or confirmation required and has no published price. OKLA’s FAQ adds that riding at steady speeds helps get the most range from the battery.
The motor has a 2-year warranty. The non-lithium battery is covered for 18 months, shorter than the 3 years OKLA gives its lithium and LFP batteries. The general policy covers the controller and charger for 12 months or 10,000 km and excludes water damage and unauthorised repairs. Claims need the original invoice and warranty booklet.
In our opinion, the OMO suits riders who want more speed and load capacity than the ORBIT or ONYX, and who like the idea of a removable battery. Its weak point is the older non-lithium battery with the shortest warranty in the range, plus the price confusion between OKLA’s own pages. At the same Rs. 299,000, the OMIGO LFP offers a 3-year LFP battery warranty, though with a smaller 1500W motor, so ride both before deciding.
