The okla OMAX is OKLA’s premium electric scooter, priced from Rs. 599,000. It has a 3000W motor, a claimed top speed of 85 km/h and a certified range of 80 km under ideal conditions. The OMAX product page lists a 74V 28Ah lithium battery, while the online shop lists 72V 40Ah, and OKLA’s pages disagree on whether the motor is a hub or side-mounted unit. The FAQ quotes a charging time of about 4 hours and a 17-degree climbing ability, which in our view should help on flyovers and steep ramps. OKLA describes the OMAX as its best-selling EV bike.
OKLA quotes a maximum load capacity of 180 kg and highlights extra space for the rider, so the OMAX is aimed at people who carry a passenger or heavier loads. The battery is swappable, which lets you remove it for charging indoors. OKLA says the frame and build are designed for longevity and reliability. Dimensions, seat height and weight are not published on the official site.
There is one priced version, the OMAX Lithium. It comes with OKLA’s smart TFT speedometer, which shows real-time information, plus route tracking and connection to an EV mobile app. OKLA also mentions a robust frame and an integrated lighting system. Brake and suspension details are not listed in the official spec table, which is a notable gap at this price. The online shop offers Black, Blue and Red. Test rides are available at OKLA’s Experience Centre in DHA Lahore.
The motor has a 2-year warranty and the lithium battery has 3 years, subject to terms and conditions. OKLA’s general policy also covers the controller and charger for 12 months or 10,000 km and the display for 12 months. Water immersion, pressure washing and unauthorised repairs are not covered. Claims need the original invoice and warranty booklet, and all claims are subject to technical inspection.
There is only one priced OMAX, so the real decision is whether to choose it over the OVA. In our opinion, the OMAX makes sense if you value its connected TFT display, app features and high claimed top speed. However, the OVA LFP costs Rs. 200,000 less, offers a longer claimed range and lists disc brakes with CBS, so we would test-ride both before deciding. Ask the dealer to confirm the battery size and motor type of the exact unit you are buying, since the official pages do not agree.
