The JE-100L SE APEX uses a 1500 watt motor and a 60V 50Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. Jolta quotes a top speed of 60 km/h, a range of 110 to 120 km per charge and a charging time of 4 to 5 hours. Both editions have the same motor and battery, so range and performance do not change with the wheel choice. Compared with the JE-100L Thunder, the APEX has a much larger battery (50Ah against 30Ah), which is why its claimed range is around 40 km longer.
Jolta has not published dimensions, weight, seat height or ground clearance for the APEX. For daily commuting, the long claimed range means fewer charging stops, and the 4 to 5 hour charging time is short enough to complete in an evening. Cruise control and a reverse gear are fitted on both editions, and a digital speedometer is standard, so the cheaper spoke edition still has the key everyday features.
The spoke wheel edition costs Rs 274,900 and comes with spoke wheels and front and rear drum brakes. The alloy wheel edition costs Rs 299,900 and adds alloy rims with front and rear disc brakes, which Jolta labels as the upgraded version. Both share the 1500W motor, 60V 50Ah LFP battery, 60 km/h top speed, cruise control, reverse gear and digital speedometer. Both prices are from Jolta’s price list effective 14 September 2026. The only difference between the two editions is therefore the wheel and brake package.
Jolta lists a 24 month warranty for the APEX. Separate battery warranty terms are not given on the page, so ask the dealer to confirm them in writing. The 24 month term is four months longer than the 20 months Jolta gives its G models and scooters. Jolta’s website also promotes doorstep after-sales service and genuine spare parts, so ask your nearest dealer how service visits are arranged in your city.
Our opinion: the spoke wheel edition gives the best value, as it has the same battery, range and features for Rs 25,000 less. The alloy edition is worth it if you want disc brakes front and rear, especially for heavy traffic or regular riding with a passenger. Jolta publishes identical specifications for the cheaper JE-70L SE BOLT, which costs Rs 10,000 less as a spoke edition and Rs 5,000 less as an alloy edition, so we suggest seeing both at a showroom and buying the APEX only if you prefer its design.
