The Vexa is the lower-priced of Inverex GO’s 2,000 W electric scooters, yet it shares its key hardware with the pricier Rogue and Jesper. Power comes from a 2,000 W permanent magnet hub motor fed by a 73V 30Ah lithium iron phosphate battery. Inverex claims 85–100 km of range under optimal riding conditions and a 65 km/h top speed. There are three riding modes (Eco, Normal and Sports) plus a reverse mode, and both battery and motor carry an IP67 dust and water rating. The battery is rated for 2,500 cycles and a 15-year lifespan.
A full charge takes 5–6 hours on up to 10A. An onboard charger is fitted, and the battery is portable, so it can be carried indoors to charge at home or in the office. In our view, overnight charging will suit most commuters, but the 5–6 hour charging time leaves little room for a quick top-up during the day.
The Vexa is the most compact Inverex scooter at 1,810 × 760 × 1,150 mm, with a short 1,135 mm wheelbase. Seat height is 750 mm and ground clearance is 198 mm. It uses 90/90-12 tyres front and rear, hydraulic front suspension and twin rear shocks. In our opinion, the short wheelbase and modest seat height should make it easy to manoeuvre in traffic and suit new riders, while the near-200 mm ground clearance helps over speed breakers.
The Vexa comes in one version. Standard features include front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, cruise control, an NFC smart card for keyless access, a digital display with trip meter, LED headlamp and a field-oriented controller. Optional extras are an anti-theft device, a portable power storage unit for more range, a Bluetooth speaker with artificial ignition sound and a large footrest. Unlike the Jesper, it does not list traction control.
Inverex gives the Vexa a three-year battery warranty, subject to terms and conditions. Launch press reports described it as three years or 50,000 km, whichever comes first.
At Rs 285,000 excluding delivery, the Vexa is Rs 50,000 cheaper than the Rogue and Rs 70,000 cheaper than the Jesper, with the same motor power, battery, claimed range and top speed on paper. In our view it is the best-value scooter Inverex sells and the one most buyers should start with. Choose the Jesper only if you specifically want traction control.
