The Rogue sits between the Vexa and the Jesper in Inverex GO’s electric scooter range. It uses the same 2,000 W permanent magnet hub motor and 73V 30Ah lithium iron phosphate battery as its siblings, with a claimed 85–100 km range under optimal riding conditions and a 65 km/h top speed. Three riding modes (Eco, Normal and Sports) and a reverse mode are included. The battery is rated for 2,500 cycles and a 15-year lifespan, and both battery and motor are IP67 rated against dust and water.
Charging takes 5–6 hours on up to 10A using the onboard charger. The battery is portable, so it can also be removed and charged indoors. In our view this suits riders who can charge overnight rather than those who need a quick top-up during the day.
The Rogue is the tallest Inverex scooter at 1,850 × 760 × 1,240 mm, and its 1,370 mm wheelbase is the longest of the scooters. It rides on wide 120/70-12 tyres at both ends with hydraulic front suspension and twin rear shocks, and has 155 mm of ground clearance. Inverex lists the seat height as 840 mm, the same figure it gives for seat length, which is unusually tall for a scooter, so we recommend checking it in person. In our opinion, the long wheelbase and wide tyres should give it a more planted feel than the Vexa.
The Rogue comes in one version with front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, cruise control, an NFC smart card for keyless access, a digital display with trip meter, LED headlamp and a field-oriented controller. Optional extras are an anti-theft device, a portable power storage unit, a Bluetooth speaker with artificial ignition sound and a large footrest. Traction control, which the Jesper has, is not listed.
Inverex lists a three-year battery warranty for the Rogue, subject to terms and conditions. Launch press reports gave it as three years or 50,000 km, whichever comes first.
The Rogue costs Rs 335,000, excluding delivery. That is Rs 50,000 more than the Vexa for the same motor, battery and listed features, with the main differences being its larger body, longer wheelbase and wider tyres. In our view it makes sense for taller riders or those who want a more substantial scooter. Otherwise, the Vexa is the better-value pick, and the Jesper adds traction control for only Rs 20,000 more.
