The Inverex Roar is an electric motorcycle from Inverex GO that shares its three powertrains with the Charlie and Volterra but uses its own body. The Roar Lite has a 1,500 W hub motor, a 60V 30Ah lithium iron phosphate battery, a claimed 100 km range and a 60 km/h top speed. The Roar Pro moves to 2,000 W and a 72V 40Ah battery for a claimed 130 km and 70 km/h. The Roar Swap uses a 3,000 W motor with a 72V 54Ah swappable battery, claiming 150 km, 90 km/h and a 30-second battery exchange at a swapping station. Inverex quotes all ranges under optimal riding conditions.
The Lite charges in 2–3 hours at 10A and the Pro in 2–3 hours with 15A fast charging. Both have an onboard charger and a removable battery for charging indoors. Inverex rates the LFP cells for 2,000 cycles and a 15-year lifespan, and the battery and motor are IP65 rated against dust and water.
At 2,000 × 760 × 1,030 mm with a 1,370 mm wheelbase, the Roar is longer and lower than the Charlie. Seat height is 780 mm, 100 mm taller than the Charlie, and ground clearance is 200 mm. It rides on 2.75-18 front and 110/90-16 rear tubeless tyres with hydraulic front suspension, twin rear shocks and a steel frame. In our opinion, the longer wheelbase should give it a steadier feel at speed, while the taller seat makes it a better fit for average-height and taller riders.
All Roar versions get front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, a digital display, LED headlamp, running lights, three speed modes (Eco, Normal and Sports), a reverse mode and a field-oriented controller. The variants differ in motor, battery, range and top speed rather than in equipment. Optional extras are an anti-theft device, a portable power storage unit, a Bluetooth speaker with artificial ignition sound and an NFC smart card.
The Lite and Pro carry a three-year battery warranty, subject to terms and conditions. No warranty is listed on the official Roar Swap page.
The Roar Lite costs Rs 435,000 and the Roar Pro Rs 510,000, excluding delivery, while the Roar Swap’s price is still listed as to be announced. Our recommendation is the Roar Pro, which adds 30 km of claimed range, 10 km/h of top speed and faster charging for Rs 75,000 more. Each Roar also costs Rs 14,000–15,000 less than the equivalent Charlie, so buyers who prefer the Roar’s longer, taller stance are not paying extra for it. We suggest waiting for confirmed pricing and battery terms before considering the Swap.
