Both Champion variants use a 1500-2200W brushless motor and a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, with a quoted top speed of 60-70 km/h. The standard Champion has a 73.6V 40Ah (3kWh) pack that Crown rates for 100-120 km in eco mode and a 4 to 5 hour charge. The Champion PRO uses a larger 73.6V 60Ah (4.4kWh) pack, rated for 160-180 km in eco mode, and takes 6 to 7 hours to charge. Both come with a 72V 10A charger. Crown says the scooter can be charged from a solar inverter if it gives a stable 220V output.
The standard Champion weighs 100 kg and the PRO 112 kg. Crown says the Champion can carry two adults with a load capacity of up to 180 kg. Practical touches listed on the official page include under-seat storage, front hooks and a glove box, along with reinforced side and rear protection bars that guard the body against scratches and minor impacts. The rear suspension is described as robust, and Crown highlights a fatigue-reducing handlebar. The company also positions it for delivery riders because of its range.
Both variants get the same kit: a combined braking system (CBS) with a front disc, a side-stand sensor that stops the scooter moving off with the stand down, NFC card unlock and a backlit digital dashboard showing speed, battery and trip data with mode indicators. Lighting is full LED, including a headlamp with a circular LED signature. Crown says reverse mode is standard on all Performance Series models, and the ToughGuard protection kit is a complimentary gift. The only differences listed are battery size, range, charging time and weight.
The LFP battery is covered for 4 years or 48,000 km, the motor and controller for 3 years or 36,000 km on a repairable basis, and body parts for 1 year or 12,000 km. Registration and a licence are required. Crown offers installment plans through partner banks.
In our opinion, the standard Champion suits riders who cover up to about 60-80 km a day and want a well-equipped scooter at a lower price. The Champion PRO is the better buy for delivery riders and long-distance commuters, because the extra Rs 50,000 buys roughly 60 km more claimed range and fewer charging stops. If you need more speed rather than more range, the Raftaar, which shares much of the same body equipment, is worth comparing.
