7 Vehicle Safety Standards Finalized for Pakistani Cars

As we already told you last week that the Pakistani government is planning to introduce new safety standards in Pakistan. Now URDUNEWS has interviewed Ch Fawad Choudary, During this interview, Fawad Choudary has hinted that the government will introduce 7 new safety standards.

In that interview, the minister said the new safety standards include airbags, good quality brakes, and windscreens. “The companies have to ensure high-quality headlights for a better drive in the night and wipers for a safe drive in the rain”.

Answering the question about potential price hike after these features, Fawad Chaudhry said the local manufacturers have to install them in current prices. He said that The companies are already charging for these features, but still launching the vehicles without them.
