GWM ORA 07

Battery and motors

The GWM ORA 07 is a battery-electric fastback sedan imported into Pakistan by Sazgar. Both versions use an 83.49 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery.

The FWD version has a single 150 kW (about 201 hp) motor with 340 Nm, and GWM’s dealer specification quotes up to 640 km of NEDC range. The AWD performance version adds a second motor for a reported 402 hp and a quoted 550 km of NEDC range. Sazgar says the AWD reaches 100 km/h from rest in 4.3 seconds, which makes it one of the quickest cars on sale in Pakistan.

Size and practicality

The ORA 07 is 4,871 mm long, 1,862 mm wide and 1,500 mm tall, with a wheelbase of about 2,870 mm. That makes it a full mid-size sedan with generous rear legroom. It has a sloping fastback roofline, frameless doors with hidden door handles and what GWM calls retro-futuristic styling, which sets it apart from more conventional electric sedans.

Equipment

GWM fits a comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assistance systems, and PakWheels lists the AWD version with eight airbags. The cabin uses a tiered dashboard and a T-shaped centre console, and PakWheels reports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Detailed equipment lists for each Pakistani variant were not published in the sources we could access, so check the dealer brochure for the exact differences between FWD and AWD.

Charging

PakWheels reports that DC fast charging takes the battery to 80% in about 40 minutes. It also reports that a full AC charge takes around 15 hours. Ask which home charger, if any, is supplied with the car.

Prices

The ORA 07 FWD costs Rs 15,300,000 ex-factory and the AWD costs Rs 17,500,000. The booking amount is Rs 5 million for both. The June 2026 price list adds only Rs 59,000 freight, giving totals of Rs 15,359,000 and Rs 17,559,000.

Which variant to buy

Our opinion: the FWD is the smarter buy for most people. It is Rs 2.2 million cheaper and has the longer claimed range. Range matters more than outright speed in Pakistan, where public fast chargers are still spread thinly outside major cities. Choose the AWD only if you want sports-car acceleration and the extra traction of four-wheel drive.
