The Deepal L07 is a fully electric (BEV) sedan. According to Deepal Pakistan, a permanent magnet synchronous motor drives the rear wheels with 255 hp and 320 Nm of torque. It uses the same 66.8 kWh CATL ternary lithium battery as the S07 SUV, but its lower, sleeker body gives it a longer claimed range of 540 km. DC fast charging from 30% to 80% takes about 35 minutes. The official website does not state the maximum AC or DC charging power, so ask the dealer if this matters to you.
The L07 has a 2,900 mm wheelbase, which is long for a mid-size sedan and helps rear legroom. PakWheels’ launch report lists its dimensions as 4,820 mm long, 1,890 mm wide and 1,480 mm tall, with 150 mm of ground clearance and 19-inch wheels with 245/45 R19 tyres. That ground clearance is lower than an SUV’s, so take care over speed breakers and broken roads. Deepal does not publish the boot capacity on its website.
The L07 is sold in one version. The official website highlights frameless doors, a panoramic roof, a 14.6-inch touchscreen running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip with Huawei software, an augmented-reality head-up display, a 40W wireless charger, a rear touchscreen for the air conditioning and a 14-speaker Sony sound system with speakers in the driver’s headrest. The driver’s seat has 12-way power adjustment with lumbar support, and the cabin offers Camping, Cold, Car Wash and Nap modes. PakWheels’ launch coverage adds front, side and curtain airbags, a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and blind spot detection; these items are not listed on the official page.
No warranty terms are published on the L07’s official page. Ask the dealer to confirm the vehicle and battery warranty in writing before you pay.
There is a single version at Rs 13,999,000 ex-factory including freight, offered as an exclusive launch package with a free 7 kW wall-mounted charger. In our opinion, the L07 is a better choice than the S07 for buyers who mostly drive on good roads, because it is Rs 1 million cheaper and has a longer claimed range. Families who need more ground clearance or a taller cabin may prefer an SUV such as the S05 or S07. Because the website still describes the price as a launch offer, confirm the current price, stock and delivery time with an authorised dealer before booking.
