The Union Star Tiger 13 is the most expensive bike in the Union Star range. It uses a 2,000 W (2 kW) electric motor with 9 Nm of listed torque. Its battery is the biggest Union Star offers: a 72V 38Ah graphene pack of about 2.73 kWh. The claimed range is 105 to 120 km per charge, and a full charge from a home socket takes about 6 hours. The listed top speed is 65 km/h in the specification table, although the same source mentions 60 km/h in its description. Riding is twist-and-go with electric start, and regenerative braking is listed to recover some energy when slowing down.
The Tiger 13 measures 1,897 mm long, 780 mm wide and 1,120 mm tall, with a 1,200 mm wheelbase and 120 mm ground clearance. At about 102 kg dry it is the heaviest Union Star scooter, which you will notice when pushing it or parking it by hand. It rides on 12-inch wheels with 3.5-12 tyres at both ends and a telescopic front fork. The seat is described as roomy enough for two, the flat footboard leaves space for feet or bags, and there is under-seat storage. Both a side stand and a centre stand are fitted.
There is a single version in black, grey and red, all at the same price. Listed equipment includes front and rear disc brakes, an LED headlamp, LED tail light and LED indicators, side mirrors and a digital speedometer that shows speed, battery level and trip distance. Features such as reverse mode, cruise control, an immobilizer or a removable battery are not confirmed in the listings we found.
No warranty terms were published in the sources we checked. Get written battery and motor warranty details from the dealer before you buy.
Only one variant is sold. Our opinion: buy the Tiger 13 if range is your priority, for example if you ride long distances across a big city like Karachi or Lahore and want to charge as rarely as possible. If not, the US V8 eco costs Rs 60,000 less, has a higher listed top speed and more convenience features, and its claimed range is not far behind. Whichever you choose, ask about battery warranty and service support in your city.
