The LX uses a 1000-watt electric motor with a 60V 32Ah Chilwee graphene battery. evee claims a top speed of 40 to 45 km/h and a range of 70 to 90 km per charge, although the summary icon on the same page shows 70 km. Charging is listed at 7 to 8 hours, and evee says the battery is rated for about 300 charging cycles. On paper, the LX shares its battery size with the cheaper Mito+ but gets a motor with much more power, which in our opinion should help when carrying a passenger or climbing ramps and flyovers.
evee describes the LX as a scooter for moving easily through residential communities, and it is one of the newer additions to the line-up. The official website does not list dimensions, weight, seat height, ground clearance or load capacity for the LX, so its size cannot be compared with rivals using official figures. In our opinion, with a top speed in the mid-40s it is best kept to city roads rather than fast highways, and buyers should check the storage space and riding position at a dealer before booking.
The LX comes in a single version. evee’s product page shows photos of the scooter but does not give a written list of features, so we cannot confirm items such as disc brakes, LED lights, riding modes or a reverse function from the official website. We recommend asking the dealer for the full equipment list, and checking the brakes in particular, before you pay a booking amount.
evee’s published warranty for the LX covers the motor for 12 months, the battery for 20 months or 15,000 km, the controller for 6 months, the frame for 24 months and the charger for 3 months. The 20-month battery cover is a clear advantage over the Mito+, which gets only 6 months on its battery and controller. However, the motor warranty is half of what evee offers on the Flipper, Gen-Z and S1.
There is only one LX, priced at Rs 160,000. In our opinion, it is the best value model in the lower half of evee’s range: for Rs 23,000 more than the Mito+, you get a stronger motor and a much longer battery warranty. If you want a lithium battery option, three riding modes or a higher top speed, the evee Gen-Z starts at Rs 177,900 and is the next step up.
