All three Gen-Z versions use a 1000-watt electric motor and offer three riding modes: Eco, Normal and Sports. The difference is the battery. The Gen-Z Graphene has a 72V 32Ah graphene battery, the Gen-Z Lithium has a 76.8V 27Ah Phylion lithium battery, and the Gen-Z Pro has a 76.8V 30Ah Phylion lithium battery, which evee describes as lithium iron phosphate. evee quotes a top speed of 45 to 50 km/h for every version. Claimed range is 70 to 90 km for the Gen-Z and 60 to 80 km for the Gen-Z Pro, and all versions take about 7 hours to charge.
evee markets the Gen-Z at younger riders who want a stylish scooter for city travel. The official product page lists a storage space and fingertip controls among its features, but it does not publish dimensions, weight, seat height, ground clearance or load capacity. In our opinion, a 50 km/h top speed is enough for most city roads, but not for fast expressways or long highway stretches. Buyers should check the storage space and seat comfort in person.
Every Gen-Z has an LED headlight, an LED tail light, a digital meter, fingertip controls and three riding modes. The Gen-Z Graphene and Gen-Z Lithium page also lists a disc brake, LED indicators and a storage space. The Gen-Z Pro page lists a front disc brake but does not mention indicators or storage space separately, so it is worth confirming these at the dealership. evee’s website does not mention reverse gear, daytime running lights or USB charging for the Gen-Z range.
The Gen-Z Graphene and Gen-Z Lithium come with a 24-month motor warranty, 20 months on the battery and controller, 36 months on the frame and 3 months on the charger. The Gen-Z Pro’s specification table extends the battery and controller cover to 36 months, although its description says the controller is covered for 20 months, so buyers should confirm the controller term in writing.
In our opinion, the Gen-Z Graphene at Rs 177,900 is the best value, as it has the same motor, modes and claimed top speed as the lithium versions and a longer claimed range than the Pro. The Gen-Z Lithium costs Rs 52,000 more for a lithium battery but has the same published range and warranty, which is hard to justify. If you specifically want lithium, we think the extra Rs 15,000 for the Gen-Z Pro is better spent, because it brings a larger battery and a 36-month battery warranty.
