Road Prince Loader 100cc overview and our opinion

Engine and gearbox

Six of the seven versions use a 98cc four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled OHV engine with a 9.8:1 compression ratio. The Stealth 110cc lists a 107cc displacement, although its engine line still says 100cc. All have a 4-speed gearbox with four forward gears and one reverse, drive through a differential and propeller shaft, and start by kick only. Road Prince claims 35 km/l, the best fuel economy of any of its loaders, and engine oil capacity is just 0.9 litres, which keeps oil changes cheap.

Size and practicality

Every version is rated at 800 kg and carries an 11-litre fuel tank. The front end is motorcycle-style, with a 2.50-18 front wheel and a shock absorber, while the rear uses a leaf spring and 135-10 wheels; the Stealth moves to larger 5-12 rear wheels. Cargo boxes are similar in footprint, about 1,830 to 1,910 mm long and 1,220 to 1,300 mm wide. The Stallion’s box is 480 mm high, the Stealth’s 490 mm, the Stallion Go’s 500 mm, and the Stallion X and Triger’s 535 mm. The Highlander and Quinqui Apollo are different: their bodies are fixed to the chassis and listed at 1,524 mm and 1,410 mm high, which suggests a tall covered box for bulky goods.

Equipment by variant

Equipment is basic and almost identical across the range. All versions list a mechanical drum front brake, a rear disc brake and a hand brake, and the Stealth adds a hydraulic rear brake. Every version except the Stealth lists a folding passenger seat and what Road Prince calls a new high cargo box. The 12V 3Ah battery is small, which fits the kick-start-only setup. Colours are Maroon for the Stallion, Stallion Go, Stallion X and Highlander, Blue for the Triger and Stealth, and Yellow Golden for the Quinqui Apollo.

Warranty and price

Road Prince’s website shows Rs 0 for every 100cc loader and does not publish an ex-factory price list. The warranty page carries only images with no readable terms, so get both the price and warranty in writing from an authorised dealer.

Which variant to buy

Our opinion: the standard Stallion is the sensible choice for light shop deliveries where low running costs matter most. Pick the Highlander or Quinqui Apollo if you carry bulky but light goods that need a tall, fixed body. The Stealth 110cc is worth the dealer’s quote if you want slightly more engine, bigger rear wheels and a hydraulic rear brake, though it loses the folding passenger seat.
