The Avatr 11 is a large battery-electric SUV with a coupe-style roofline, imported as a CBU by Master Changan Motors. All three Pakistani versions use a 116.79 kWh NCM battery from CATL on an 800V platform. The Ultra RWD has one rear motor rated at 308 hp and a claimed NEDC range of 680 km. The Ultra AWD and Royal Edition add a front motor for 529 hp and 641 Nm, with a claimed NEDC range of 630 km and 0 to 100 km/h in about 4.8 seconds. DC charging peaks at 240 kW, which PakWheels says takes the battery from 30 to 80 percent in around 25 minutes, and the onboard AC charger accepts 11 kW. Every version supports 3.3 kW vehicle-to-load.
The 11 is 4,880 mm long, 1,970 mm wide and 1,601 mm tall, with a long 2,975 mm wheelbase. PakWheels lists ground clearance at 170 mm and boot space at 445 litres. The Ultra RWD and Ultra AWD seat five, while the Royal Edition is a four-seater with individual rear captain seats. It rides on 22-inch wheels, so replacement tyres will not be cheap.
Standard highlights reported for the Avatr 11 include six airbags, a panoramic glass roof, zero-gravity front seats with heating, ventilation, massage and memory, dual-zone climate control, three screens (a 15.6-inch centre display plus 10.25-inch driver and passenger displays), a 25-speaker Meridian sound system, a wireless charger, Brembo brakes, an active rear spoiler and a power tailgate. Driver assistance covers adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, driver fatigue monitoring, a 360-degree camera and automatic parking. The Royal Edition adds powered doors that open and close themselves, aniline leather, reclining rear seats with heating, ventilation and massage, gesture control for the screens, remote parking from a phone and a two-tone paint finish.
No Avatr 11 warranty terms had been published at the time of writing, so ask the dealer before booking. The booking amount is Rs. 6,000,000 for every variant, and PakWheels lists delivery at about three months. AVATR is new to Pakistan, so local parts pricing and resale values are still unknown.
Our opinion: the Ultra RWD is the pick for owner-drivers. It is the cheapest, has the longest claimed range and still gets the big battery and most of the luxury equipment. The Ultra AWD is worth the extra Rs. 1 million if you want much stronger acceleration and all-wheel-drive traction. The Royal Edition is really a chauffeur car; choose it only if you will spend most of your time in the back seat.
