Road King lists the R99 Pro at Rs 185,000 on its official website. It sits just below the Janoon Pro in price and is one of the brand’s most widely advertised scooties.
The official website has no specification sheet for the R99 Pro. Road King’s own Facebook page says it has a 1000-watt motor and a 60V 30Ah battery, and claims a top speed of 90–100 km/h. PakWheels gives very different figures: an 800-watt motor, a 60V 23Ah graphene battery, a top speed of 55 km/h, a range of about 100 km and a charging time of around 6 hours. Because the speed claims differ so much, we have not listed a top speed; test-ride the bike and ask the dealer for written figures.
PakWheels lists the R99 Pro at 1,710 mm long, 780 mm wide and 1,100 mm tall, with a 1,200 mm wheelbase and a weight of 70 kg. That is light for a scooty, which helps when pushing it into a house or parking it in a tight space.
There is a single version. PakWheels lists a digital meter, an LED headlight, USB charging, a dual remote key, reverse and cruise control.
No warranty terms are published for the R99 Pro on the official website. Get the battery and motor warranty from the dealer in writing.
There is only one version. In our opinion, the R99 Pro offers a good feature list for the money, but the conflicting performance figures are a concern. If clear official numbers matter to you, the Janoon Pro costs Rs 25,000 more and has a published specification sheet with a front disc brake.
No price change recorded for this variant yet.
