Road King lists the Raptor at Rs 220,000 on its official website. It is one of the newest models, shown on the homepage in grey, black, blue and red, and it has its own official specification page.
Road King says the Raptor uses a 1500-watt BLDC motor and a 72V 32Ah graphene battery, the highest-voltage battery among its current scooties with published figures. Despite this, the company quotes a modest top speed of 50–55 km/h and a range of 70–100 km per charge. Charging time is not published. Road King describes its graphene batteries as non-flammable and long-lasting. The strong motor should help on flyovers and with a passenger on board.
Dimensions, weight and seat height are not published. A 50–55 km/h top speed is fine for city traffic but slower than the Janoon Pro, and the 70–100 km range should still cover a typical day or two of commuting.
There is a single version. The Raptor has the best equipment list in the range: disc brakes front and rear, a digital meter, USB charging, an NFC card key, a dual remote key with cruise control, reverse, a side-stand sensor and a safe guard. The side-stand sensor helps prevent riding off with the stand down, and discs at both ends give the strongest braking of any Road King scooty.
No warranty terms are published for the Raptor on the official website. Ask the dealer for written battery and motor cover.
There is only one version. In our opinion, the Raptor is the best-equipped Road King scooty and worth the extra Rs 10,000 over the Janoon Pro if you value braking, reverse and the NFC key. Riders who mostly want speed and range should choose the Janoon Pro.
