The ICON e: marks Atlas Honda’s entry into electric two-wheelers in Pakistan. It is a compact scooter designed for city trips, with a twist-and-go electric drive and Honda’s reputation behind it. It costs Rs 419,900 ex-factory in white, black and red.
Atlas Honda has not yet published full specifications for the Pakistani ICON e:. The same scooter sold in Indonesia uses an in-wheel brushless motor (1.81 kW maximum, 85 Nm), a 48-volt, 30.6 Ah lithium-ion battery (about 1.5 kWh), a full charge time of around 7 hours 20 minutes, a top speed of 55 km/h and a range of 53 km on the WMTC test cycle. We show those figures here and will update them when Honda confirms the local specifications. Real-world range drops with a passenger, heavy traffic and hot weather.
The Indonesian model measures 1,796 × 680 × 1,085 mm, with a 1,298 mm wheelbase, 742 mm seat height, 132 mm ground clearance and an 89 kg kerb weight, which makes it easy to manoeuvre and park.
An electric scooter has no engine oil, spark plugs or air filters, so routine maintenance is far cheaper than a petrol bike’s. Charging from a home socket costs a fraction of the petrol needed for the same distance, though the saving depends on your electricity tariff.
The ICON e: suits short daily city commutes, especially riders who can charge at home overnight and want Honda’s after-sales support. If you ride long distances or want the most range for the money, compare it carefully with other electric scooters on sale in Pakistan, many of which cost less.
The Honda ICON e: costs Rs 4.2 lakh ex-factory (ICON e:: Rs 419,900). It is available in White, Black and Red. The ex-factory price is the same in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and every other city; registration and token tax differ by province, so the on-the-road amount you pay can vary slightly. Prices are taken from Atlas Honda’s official website and we update them when Honda revises its price list.
