Few motorcycles are as woven into Pakistani life as the Honda CG 125. Farmers, couriers, families and long-distance commuters choose it for one reason: it keeps going. In October 2026 Atlas Honda sells three versions: the kick-start CG 125 at Rs 238,500, the self-start CG 125S at Rs 286,900 and the CG 125S Gold at Rs 296,900, all ex-factory.
Every CG 125 uses the same 124.1cc, 4-stroke OHV air-cooled engine (bore and stroke 56.5 × 49.5 mm, compression ratio 9.0:1). It is not the most refined engine, but its simple pushrod design is extremely tough and any mechanic can rebuild it. The base CG 125 is kick start with a 4-speed gearbox; the CG 125S and Gold add an electric self-starter (the kick lever stays) and a 5-speed constant-mesh gearbox, which makes highway cruising calmer.
The CG 125S measures 1,912 × 727 × 1,029 mm, with a 1,212 mm wheelbase, 765 mm seat height, 133 mm ground clearance and a 108 kg dry weight. Its 9.2-litre tank includes a 2-litre reserve. Suspension is a telescopic fork with 103 mm of travel and a swing arm with 70 mm, on 2.50-18 front and 3.00-17 rear tyres. The kick-start CG 125 is slightly lighter.
Atlas Honda covers the engine for 3 years or 20,000 km and the frame, body and electrics for 6 months or 6,000 km, with three free services. CG 125 parts are among the cheapest and most widely stocked in the country.
If budget allows, the CG 125S is the best all-rounder: the self-starter is a daily convenience and the fifth gear lowers revs at speed. The Gold adds special-edition styling for Rs 10,000 more. The kick-start CG 125 remains the choice for buyers who value simplicity and the lowest price above all.
The Honda CG 125 costs Rs 2.38 lakh to Rs 2.97 lakh ex-factory (CG 125: Rs 238,500, CG 125S (self start): Rs 286,900, CG 125S Gold: Rs 296,900). It is available in Red, Black and Blue (CG 125 only). The ex-factory price is the same in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and every other city; registration and token tax differ by province, so the on-the-road amount you pay can vary slightly. Prices are taken from Atlas Honda’s official website and we update them when Honda revises its price list.
