The United Bravo was United Motors’ entry-level 800cc hatchback, launched in September 2018 as a cheaper, better-equipped alternative to the Suzuki Mehran. Its last reported ex-factory price was Rs 1,519,000, following a Rs 100,000 cut in August 2022. United’s official car website could not be checked for this listing, and PakWheels now lists the Bravo among discontinued United models, so new units may only be available as leftover dealer stock, if at all.
Power comes from a 796cc three-cylinder SOHC petrol engine with electronic fuel injection, paired with a four-speed manual gearbox driving the front wheels. Launch reports and brochure figures on Gari.pk put output at about 40 hp (29.5 kW) with roughly 60 Nm of torque, although PakWheels lists only 30 hp. The engine is rated to Euro II emissions, and top speed is quoted at 140 km/h. Published fuel economy claims vary widely between sources, so treat any figure with caution until a dealer confirms it.
The Bravo is 3,350 mm long, 1,590 mm wide and 1,530 mm tall, on a 2,175 mm wheelbase. It has 150 mm of ground clearance, a 30-litre fuel tank and seats five. It rides on 155/65 R13 tyres, and a spare wheel was added as standard in a 2019 update. Boot space has not been published.
There was only one version, usually called the Base Grade. For its price it was well equipped: air conditioning, electric power steering, power windows, central locking, a touchscreen multimedia unit, a reversing camera, a digital instrument display, fog lamps, alloy wheels and a folding remote key. Reported colours were white, silver, grey, beige, maroon and royal blue. We could not find confirmed information on airbags or ABS, and no warranty terms were found.
Opinion: with a single variant there is no choice to make, but the bigger question is whether to buy one at all. When last reported, United’s dealer network was small and concentrated in Punjab, owner reviews mention suspension problems and weak resale value, and with the model discontinued, parts and after-sales support may become harder to find. If you find a genuinely new unit, check its manufacturing date, get the warranty confirmed in writing and compare it with a new Suzuki Alto before deciding.
